In 1857, the wholesale company CC Brusell & Co
began producing and selling beer under the name
Münchens Bryggeribolag.

Before the building´s beer era began in 1857, a number
of exciting operations had been housed in this now famo-
us industrial space. Clothing, cogwheels, and tiled ovens
were manufactured here, and a printing works, a foundry,
and carpenter's were run here. To mention but a few.
Today, more than 140 years later, following fire and the
threat of demolition, München-Bryggeriet still stands, the-
reby preserving a unique part of industrial history and
making it available to all.
